    Stability Analysis on Surrounding Rock Mass of Longtan Hydropower Station Main Powerhouse
    Abstract
    On the basis of field training in Longtan hydropower station, a great deal of data is collected. And I acquire such information as hydrological and engineering geological condition, distribution and geometrical parameters of main plant, physical and mechanical property of surrounding rock mass, prominent problems existed in construction, etc. Through optimal selection, FEM is determined to analyse the surrounding rock stability, and according to principle and steps of FEM, mechanical analysis model is build, loaded and solved by ADINA ( Automatic Dynamic Incremental Nonlinear Analysis ) software, meanwhile, the conclusion drawings including stress and displacement distribution can be displayed, from which we can draw a comprehensive evaluation. Then, the paper puts forward corresponding reinforcement program according to different influence factors to ensure stability of main powerhouse during excavation. Conclusion from FEM plays a pole to supporting design, which reaches the purpose of optimal design and construction.
